Was a wonderful Country park,perfect for dog walking,horse riders,children and family's.
However,I understand they are now planning to fence large areas using barbed wire to enclose more cows,(which in the past have managed to get out.)
Effectively making much of the park an unsafe no go area for dog walkers,(Who contribute most of the parking fees daily) and younger children.
Apparently Thorndon has gone down the same route,I think they should rethink.

Good place to go for a walk or a hilly bike ride, MTB or E bike is prefered

Lovely open space, pretty woods and safe places to let my dog run.
Parking was a but pricey... but nice clean loos made a nice change.
We were lucky with the weather - but the ground was sodden - so recommend wellies!!

Lovely park for dogs and kiddies. Cafe very uninspiring though and staff a bit clueless

Parking is pricey. £2.80 for an hour, £4 for 2 hours.
The park is nice and path well-maintained even in winter.

Great place for a family walk and kids to play in the two playground areas. There is a little coffee shop here to, normally has cake and coffees, ice creams and crisps. They do sandwiches but when we visited last they didn't have any so not sure if you could rely on them.

Nice walk round the pond and watching the deer. Good for families.
